The island of Rhodes is located at the crossroads of two major sea routes of the Mediterranean between the Aegean Sea and the coast of the Middle East, as well as Cyprus and Egypt. The meeting point of three continents, it has known many civilizations.

Throughout its long history the different people who settled on Rhodes left their mark in all aspects of the island's culture: art, language, architecture. Its strategic position brought to the island great wealth and made the city of Rhodes one of the leading cities of the ancient Greek world.

Rhodes is the largest island in the Dodecanese. Its capital city, located at its northern tip, is the capital of the Prefecture with the Medieval Town in its centre. In 1988 the Medieval Town was designated as a World Heritage City. The Medieval Town of Rhodes is the result of different architectures belonging to various historic eras, predominantly those of the Knights of St. John

5 Days / 4 Nights Tour to SANTORINI & MYCONOS:
Sept 09 - 13, 2012 (Pre) or Sept 16 – 20, 2012(Post)
Santorini Island
Santorini Island is the most spectacular and romantic island of Cyclades. It is a unique place due to its volcano and its magnificent landscape. This island is unique in it's history & architecture. There is no other such island which has been buried in the ground and born again more than once. The capital of Santorini is Fira ( Thira).

Santorini had a round shape until the volcano erupted in 1500 BC with a tremendous force that the central part sunk into the sea. The Minoan settlements on the island were destroyed and covered by volcanic ash. The huge tidal waves reached Crete and destroyed the Minoan civilisation.

Nowadays, the crescent shape of the island forms a long inner bay called "caldera". It is considered the largest one on earth (11,2x22,4 km). The sheer cliffs of the caldera rise from the sea up 10 a height of 300 m. There are two volcanic islets in the middle: Palea Kameni and Nea Kameni, which is actually a part of the active sunken volcano crater. To the west side of the caldera there is Thirassia island and Aspronisi islet.

Myconos Island
Considered the most cosmopolitan Greek island, Mykonos attracts a great number of visitors including many artists and celebrities from all over the world. Mykonos is a destination for all types of people. From jet setters to college students and families, Mykonos is Greece's most well known and popular island and the people you see are from all walks of life, from every country.

This amazingly pretty island offers all amenities of a modern resort with many activities for day and night. It is famous for its hectic nightlife and its golden sandy beaches. Low rocky hills, ending to crystal water beaches from the genuine mykonian landscape. Chora (Mykonos town), the capital of the island, is one of the best examples of the Cyclades architecture, with its paved narrow streets flanked by gleaming white-washed houses, all with brightly painted window shutters and wooden balconies which ablaze with colourful geraniums and variety of shops, tavernas, bars and clubs, gives to the visitors the unique sensation of a film scenery. Ano Mera is the most important village after Chora offering accommodations, while some of the most frequented bays are Ornos, Platy Yialos, Aghios loannis and Super Paradise with sandy beaches lined with umbrellas and sun beds. The Island of Delos, located very near to Mykonos, is uninhabited but is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. It was once a thriving port and commercial center. Said to be the birthplace of Apollo, the Delian games were held here and the ruins of the city are quite extensive and well worth a visit, especially in the spring when wildflowers are in bloom.
